My internet

was recently changed (provider) by my Mother. From Aol to BT. I was against the change as it restricted our internet usage a month (albeit with a lesser cost) and I did not know how much we used. Knowing that I download a great deal of music, watch some films/tv shows and read a great deal of text files on the internet a month, I urged against it. I’m also just skeptical of any immediate and hasty change when it comes to internet providers because if one was better than others in all pragmatic circumstances then wouldn’t everyone have subscribed to it anyway? As a result our internet now costs for every GIG we go over (a significant amount already xD) and it is slow as a 90 year old snail’s arse crack. Thankyou BT Broadband, “fastest broadband around”. And curse my mums money saving techniques. I should perhaps take a more front seat role when it comes to finances, as I AM the main breadwinner now… kinda… is this soy milk off? My coffee tastes really strange.

Freedom

You are not free. Your mind isn’t free, its a slave to sexual desires, addictions and needs. Your body is less free, subject to arrest, disease, death and decay. Your voice is not free, as anything you say is shot down, ridiculed and twisted. In no way is anyone free. But within our confines the choices are limitless. We do have the freedom to choose not to extend our confinement. The majority of constraints on ourselves are caused by ourselves. Wake up and free your mind.

I mostly like autobiographies and memoirs, but I also like fantasy/sci-fi books (LOTR, Harry Potter, Ender's Game, etc). And how about you??

I dislike Harry Potter but Im a fan of ALOT of other fantasy. LOTR/Discworld(Terry Pratchett)/Edge Chronicles (when I was younger but still awesome) etc. Love alot of left wing/beat poet/derivative/modernist/post modernist literature and poetry - TS Eliot, Bret Easton Ellis, Don Delilo, Alan Ginsberg, Chuck Palahniuk etc. Im very into Haruki Murakami at the moment.

Skateboarding

I have found a successful, challenging and smooth/FAST skateboarding loop in my village. YES! It involves some walking parts where the ground is too rough and I can calm down after some intense boarding. Never thought Id get to this stage of comfort and ease with skating fast when I started, perhaps I can begin to aim for halfpipes soon :) must buy some pads…

“

We have come this far
Just crawling on our knees
Standing in the wake
Is just enough to feel scared (of the aftermath)
‘Cos we are

It’s all gone dark
Twenty feet underground
Are you still alive
Why don’t you ever learn
You just lost control
Falling all the way down

I was carrying you
So your footsteps disappeared
Save a bitter taste for this emergency break
‘Cos we are

It’s all gone dark
Twenty feet underground
Are you still alive
Why don’t you ever learn
You just lost control
Falling all the way down

Fightstar. Floatation therapy
Love this band. Their early B sides are incredible. Alternate endings.
